Norman Lewis Christian, Jr., 68, passed away in Corsicana, Texas on Monday, September 20, 2021. Norman was born in Ennis, Texas on March 10, 1953, to Norman Lewis and Patsy Lou (Van Deveer) Christian, Sr. Norman grew up in Ennis and graduated from Ennis High School in 1971. Norman lived in Ennis then spent 25 years in East Texas, then to Palmer and was living in Corsicana at the time of his passing. Norman served his country proudly in the United States Air Force. Norman worked as a truck driver. Norman was a member of the Latch Baptist Church of Gilmer and the American Legion. Norman enjoyed antiques and loved trucks. He enjoyed playing tricks on people and loved to laugh. He loved being with his family and spending time with them. Norman is survived by his sons: Norman Lewis Christian, III and his wife, Danielle and Joe Ross Christian; five grandchildren; sister, Pam Cootes and husband, Billy; several nieces and nephews along with a host of extended family and friends. Norman is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Terry Zhanel. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 22, 2021, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. in the J.E. Keever Mortuary of Ennis. A Celebration of his life will be held on Thursday, September 23, 2021, at 10 a.m. in the J.E. Keever Mortuary Chapel of Ennis. Interment will follow in Myrtle Cemetery under the direction of J.E. Keever Mortuary, Inc.
