Bio
Douglas Neal Hawkins, 65, of Elizabethtown passed away Tuesday, September 14, 2021, at Baptist Health Hardin. He was born October 15, 1955, in Elizabethtown to his parents, Stanley and Margaret Finney Hawkins. Doug was a warehouse supervisor for Mouser Cabinetry; a veteran of the United States Air Force and was a member of Memorial United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Bruce and Stanley Hawkins and two sisters, Peggy Hawkins and Barbara Simpson. Survivors include his children, Jeremy Hawkins, Robert Hawkins and Megan Yates (Tim); sister, Georgia Godwin (Kenny); grandchildren, Bryton Hawkins, TJ and Jason Yates and Viviana Hawkins; several nieces and nephews and his best friend, Gary Jones. Services will be 11AM Saturday, September 18, 2021. Burial will be Thursday, October 7, 2021, in the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery-Central. Visitation will be from 4-8PM Friday, September 17, 2021, and after 9AM Saturday at the funeral home.
