Bio

Rose attended rural school and married Joseph Arlt on 12 Feb 1936 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Platte Center. They farmed in the Lindsay and St. Bernard areas, and in 1973 retired in Lindsay. Rose was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Lindsay and its guild. She was also a member of card clubs and American Legion Auxiliary Post 261 of Lindsay. Rose was survived by two daughters & their husbands; four sons and their wives; 24 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, one son, one daughter, one grandson, one great-grandson, four brothers and one sister. (Information from obituary in Norfolk Daily News, 7 Jan 2003)
