Dan Williamson, age 77, of Omaha, TX passed away on Tuesday, January 26, 2021 in Mt. Pleasant, TX. Dan was born on June 17, 1943 in Gilmer, TX to Bill and Bess Williamson. Dan was a pastor for 46 years, and served in the United States Army for 3 years. He is survived by his wife Nelda Williamson; two daughters, Audra Powell and husband Jessy, Denise Basham and husband Randy; stepson's, Dan and Jeremy Rainey as well as numerous grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, Laura Williamson; brother, Winfred Williamson and grandson Caleb Powell. Cremation arrangements are being held under the direction of Curry-Welborn Funeral Home. There are no pending services. His ashes will be buried privately at Lafayette Cemetery at a later date.
