Denzil Glenn Wright, 80, of Forney, passed away Monday, August 30, 2021 at his home. Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, September 2 at Dawson Cemetery with Chaplain Franklin Reagan officiating. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, September 1 at Wade Funeral Home in Hubbard. Denzil was born July 8, 1941 in Weatherford to Reverend Denzil Wright, Sr. and Ina Belle (Mock) Wright. He was a 1959 graduate of Blooming Grove and had a long career as an Operations Manager/Director for Mobil Oil. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Jeri Ann (Prater) Wright; sister, Faye Wright England Mrazek and two brothers, Donnie Von Wright and Ronald Ray Wright. Survivors include son, Larry Williamson and wife, Kelly; brother-in-law, Brian Prater; brothers, Mike Wright and wife, Karen (DeeDee) and Timothy Wright; sister-in-law, Linda Wright; uncle, Harold Ray Wright and wife, Dot; grandchildren, Brandon Williamson and wife, Sarah and Emily Williamson; niece, Audrey Prater and many other nieces, nephews, cousins and other extended family members.
