Arcadia Tribune, September 14, 1969 col. 4 OBITUARIES Charles Rudolph Vacek of 1725 S. Baldwin, Arcadia, Calif. passed away Sept. 9, at his home. He was a native of Omaha, Nebraska and had been a resident of Arcadia the past 10 years. He is survived by his wife, Josephine Vacek; one daughter, Helen Rose in Arcadia; seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren; one brother, Frank Vacek of Ralston, Neb.; two sisters: Josie Visty of Alhambra, Calif. and Mary Krachek in Omaha, Nebraska. Recitation of the Rosary was Friday, Sept. 12, 8 p.m. in the Chapel of the Glasser-Miller & Lamb Mortuary, Arcadia, Calif. Requiem Mass was celebrated 8:30 a.m. Saturday in the Church Of The Holy Angels. Interment followed in Resurrection Cemetery.
