Pauline B. Phelps of Mount Pleasant, Texas passed away Monday, December 31, 2012 in Mount Pleasant. She was born August 3, 1929 in Titus County, Texas the daughter of Annie Vera (Stringfellow) and Charlie Walter Owens. Pauline was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy in Mount Pleasant and was a housekeeper for the Holiday Inn. She is survived by her 3 daughters, Eudy Ann Thompson of Sugarhill, Texas, Dorothy "Dottie" Clark of Baghdad, and Margaret Hughes of Mount Pleasant; 3 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; one brother, Leslie Lee Owens of Douglasville, and a sister, Mary Nell Rising of Chickasha, Oklahoma; great aunt, Mary. She is preceded in death by her parents, 1 brother and 2 sisters. Graveside services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Wednesday, January 2, 2013 at Liberty Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6-8 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
