Bio
Daughter of Bernhard & Emma (Gehring) Janssen. She attended District #28 grade school and graduated from Platte Center High School in 1942. On September 5, 1945 she married Jerome Mark at Zion Lutheran Church. They lived on the Mark family home where she enjoyed helping with the farm work and also working in the house. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church and was active in the church choir for many years. She was also active in Sunday School and the Ladies Aid (WELCA). Margaret was also a member of the U. & I. Extension Club.
