CHILDRESS - Ettie Lee Atkinson, 92, died Sunday, Oct. 14, 2001 in Amarillo. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Parkview Baptist Church with the Rev. Don McFarland, pastor of the church officiating. Burial will be in Childress Cemetery by Johnson Funeral Home. Mrs. Atkinson was born June 5, 1909 in Kirkland. She was a member of Parkview Baptist Church. Survivors include two daughters, Billie Veloni of Paramount, CA and Pat Rutledge of Amarillo; two sisters, Marie Britain and Jeane Swafford, both of Amarillo; nine grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
