LH Kruger, 97, of Aubrey, TX, passed away Friday, July 23, 2021 in Aubrey. He was born May 24, 1924 in Aubrey, TX to Henry and Lela (Sauls) Krueger. LH married Willie Mae Wilson on November 10, 1945 in Decatur, TX. She preceded him in death on February 17, 2015. LH later married Doris Marie Patterson in Aubrey, TX on August 25, 2017. LH served in the United States Army during World War II. In 1964 LH Kruger purchased 328 acres of land off of Highway 377 just south of Aubrey, TX, which became the community of Krugerville. In 1973 the city of Krugerville was incorporated. LH is survived by his wife, Doris of Aubrey, TX; one son, Larry Kruger and wife Carla of Forestburg, TX; two daughters, LeDena Wilson and husband Dan and Sherry Fischer both of Pilot Point, TX; two stepsons, David Wayne Blackerby of Moore, TX and Kevin Woodrow Blackerby of Tucson, AZ; stepdaughter, Clara Marie Cross of Moore, TX; nine grandchildren; twenty-two great-grandchildren; fifteen great-great-grandchildren; five brothers, George Kruger and wife Sybil of Wichita Falls, TX, Willie Krueger and wife Helen of Krugerville, TX, Frank Krueger and wife Irene of Valley View, TX, Ronny Krueger of Aubrey, TX, and Marion Krueger of Aubrey, TX; two sisters, Lucille Sprabary and Donna Krueger both of Aubrey, TX; brother-in-law, Donald Ray Patterson and wife Janice of Krum, TX; four sisters-in-law, Dorothy Nell Hill of Pilot Point, TX, Mary Holland and husband John of Aubrey, TX, Brenda Evans and husband Calvin of Corinth, TX, and Annie Ruth Pennington of Denton, TX. He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Lela; first wife, Willie; daughter, Lela Kruger; son-in-law, Gary Raymond Fischer; four brothers, Smokey Kruger, Vernon Kruger, Alvin Kruger and Kenneth Krueger; four sisters, Pauline Oliver, Irene Cook, Ruby Rambo, and Elsie Ball; brother-in-law, Frankie Don Patterson; and sister-in-law, Edith Rhoads. Visitation will be held 10:00AM-11:00AM, Wednesday, July 28, 2021 at Faith Assembly Church in Aubrey, TX and the funeral service will begin at 11:00AM with Larry Kruger and Clarence Dalrymple officiating. Interment will follow at Belew Cemetery in Aubrey, TX.
