Bio

MRS. HALE DIES; RITES HELD SAT. Mrs. Lillian Beatrice Hale, 67, a Lindsay resident for the past 39 years, died early Thursday morning at the Lindsay Municipal hospital. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Webb chapel, with the Rev. Roy B. Shaw, pastor of the Lindsay Church of Christ, officiating. Interment followed in the Olive cemetery. Mrs. Hale was born in Alabama in September of 1890. She came to California, and to Lindsay, in 1918. She is survived by two sons, Charles E. Hale of Lindsay and Jess Hale of Marysville; two daughters, Mrs. Winifred Miller of Marysville and Mrs. Doris Miller of Sacramento; her mother, Mrs. T. E. Jones of Porterville; two sisters, Mrs. Harry Edwards of Porterville and Mrs. Hattie Taylor of Anaheim; nine grandchildren and one great grandson.
