Funeral services for Buddie Franklin Calhoun, 75, of Natchitoches, LA, will be held on Sunday, July 25, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Warren Meadows Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Rickey Robertson officiating. Burial will follow in the Prospect Cemetery. Visitation will begin on Saturday, July 24, 2021, at 5:00 PM at Warren Meadows Funeral Home, Many, LA. Buddie Franklin Calhoun was born on Wednesday, December 26, 1945 in Cottonwood, LA. He passed away on Thursday, July 22, 2021 at his residence in Natchitoches, LA. He was preceded in death by his parents, Levi Anderson Calhoun and Gertrude (Fee) Calhoun Turner; brother, Durl Calhoun; paternal grandparents, Jessie and Lona Calhoun and his maternal grandparents, Henry and Tressie Fee. He is survived by his wife, Marie Calhoun of Natchitoches, LA; sons: Buddie Calhoun, Jr. and wife Ashley of Lake Charles, LA, Seth Calhoun and wife Misty of DeVille, LA and Bradley Smart and wife Erica of Anacoco, LA; sisters, Sandra Wells of Wells, TX and Betty Joe Calhoun of Rosepine, LA; brothers, Jerry Calhoun of Leesville, LA and Jessie Calhoun of Leesville, LA; seven grandchildren; two great grandchildren; along with a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
