Bio
Clara is assumed to have died c1898-1899 at Coryell County, Texas. Can anyone confirm that she is buried at the Mound Cemetery like her father? Clara was the youngest of eleven known children of William Reese Chatham (1820-1898) and his first known wife, Frances A. Elizabeth Wilson (1828-1868), who married 15 Oct 1846 at Macon County, Alabama. It is not known where Frances is buried. After Frances died, William remarried to Martha Ann Hays (1849-1927) on 13 Oct 1869 at Montgomery County, Alabama and had an additional eight known children. The family moved to Coryell County, Texas before 1880. Clara married Robert "Bob" Calvin (or Calvary?) Caldwell (1865-1936) on 06 Jan 1886 at Coryell County, Texas. Clara and Bob were the parents of five known children, namely: 1. William Newton Caldwell (18871-963) 2. George Washington Caldwell (1889-1967) 3. Martha Lee Caldwell Price (1892-1964) 4. Maude Caldwell Seward (1895-1972) 5. Mary Lee "Etta?" Caldwell Foster Seward (1897-1986) After Clara died, Bob remarried to Ellen Lila (went by Lila) Taylor (1880-1958) on 05 Aug 1900 at Coryell County, Texas and had an additional nine known children.
