Copied from the Daily Journal, Tupelo, Mississippi dated January 8, 2004 CORINTH – Jimmy Ray Jones, 55, died Tuesday, Jan. 6, 2004, at the Magnolia Regional Health Center. He was a former industrial worker. He was disabled. Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Hatchie Chapel Church with Bro. Pete Wooley officiating. Burial will be in Hatchie Chapel Cemetery. Coleman-Family Chapel is in charge of the arrangements. Survivors include his wife, Stella Mae Jones of Corinth; two stepsons, Kenneth Eugene Hembree, and Jarrod Hembree and wife, Amy, all of Ramer, Tenn.; two daughters, Betrice Renee Merritt and husband, Jason, of Chalybeate, and Melody Luann Lyles and husband, Tim, of Baldwyn; three stepdaughters, Joann Reeder and husband, Robert, of Ramer, Tenn., Elizabeth Ann Hembree of Corinth, and Judy Hood and husband, Brian, of Crowley, La.; a brother, Virgil Ray Jones and wife, Joann, of Ripley; a sister, Marie Hall of Chalybeate. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Jones and Zedie Jones. Pallbearers will be Greg Hamm, Tracy Hamm, James Brewer, Andy Jones and Brandon Jones.
