Bio
Garry Elliott, 70, of Garrison, Texas, passed away on July 7, 2021, in Garrison, Texas. He was born on September 21, 1950. Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM on Monday, July 12, 2021, at Garrison Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Caledonia Cemetery in Garrison. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 12:00 PM till 2:00 PM on Monday, July 12, 2021, at Garrison Funeral Home. Garry was a lifelong resident of Garrison. He started school at Concord and later finished at Garrison High School. Garry retired from Acme Brick Company after 33 years with the company. He passed on his work ethic to his son. Garry was at his happiest while outdoors. He loved hunting and fishing. He was quite the hunter and had may trophies to show for his time spent doing what he loved. Garry and Sandy married at their home on October 13, 2018. Sandy lovingly took care of him through sickness and health. Garr Lee, as he was affectionately called by his friends, was loved by so many and will be greatly missed. Garry is survived by his wife, Sandy Elliott; mother, Sybil Lee Elliott; sons, Garry Lee Elliott, Jr. and girlfriend, Christina Sills, Davy Gene Elliott, and Daniel Lee Elliott; stepchildren, Shelle Davison and husband, Kevin, and Corey Jimerson; brothers, Larry Gene Elliott and wife, Jean, and Jeffery Lane Elliott and wife, Cindy; he had 2 grandsons on the way; 5 step-grandchildren; and 4 step-great-grandchildren; and numerous other kinfolk. He was preceded in death by his wife of 33 years, Sherry Ann Elliott; father, Edgar Eugene Elliott; son, Jonathan Elliott; brother, Lloyd Elliott; and sister, Cathy Elliott.
