Bio
Mary was the third child born to William E Jordan born in Kentucky about 1852 and Emily Elizabeth Chaffins. The Chaffins came to Kaufman County in the mid 1890's. She married James W Woods in Kaufman County, Texas on the 23rd of December 1894. Her husband preceded her in 1943. The Woods left Texas and came to Calera by 1910. She was the mother of Edna Mae Woods (Charles Elmo) Vinson and Ollie Clide Woods (Silas Edgar) Vinson. The Vinson's were not brothers. She was the grandmother of 11 children.
