No Middle Name noted on Birth Certificate of Texas Birth Index Parents James Madison Gibson and Lora May Denny Married Travis Fore June 19, 1954 in Wichita County, Texas LaMarylis Fore, 89, of Gainesville, Texas passed away on Thursday, June 24, 2021. Graveside services will be at 10:00 am, Monday, June 28, 2021 in the Petrolia Cemetery in Petrolia, Texas. Arrangements are under the direction of Davis Funeral Home in Henrietta. LaMarylis Gibson Fore was born in Petrolia Texas on August 21, 1931, and graduate Petrolia High School in 1948. She held numerous positions at the Wichita National Bank, Wichita Falls TX, was a stay at home mom for two children, and then served as the Nocona Middle School Secretary and Librarian. She also obtained a Texas real estate license. LaMarylis retired in 1986, where she continued to enjoy golfing, fishing, and traveling with her husband Travis (Sonny). A large part of her retirement was spent following the activities of her two grandsons Riley and Keith. LaMarylis was a Baptist, participated in many volunteer and service organizations, and was the President of the North Texas Ladies Golf Association. She is survived by her husband Travis (Sonny) of 67 years, daughter and son-in-law, Karla and John Metzler, and grandsons Riley and Keith Metzler all of Gainesville TX, and son, Dr. Todd Fore of Arlington VA. Visitation will be on Sunday, June 27, 2021 at Davis Funeral Home from 2:00 pm-4:00 pm. There will also be a visitation on Sunday, June 27, 2021 at the home of Karla and John Metzler in Gainesville, Texas from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm. The family request, in lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Travis and LaMarylis Fore Scholarship Fund at North Central Texas Collage Foundation, 1525 W California St, Gainesville TX 76240 or Home Hospice, 316 S.
