The Houston Chronicle - October 20, 1984 PETTER VIRGINIA ALICE PETTER, 83, died Thursday, October 18, 1984. Survivors: Son, Doyle R. Willis, Houston; daughters and sons-in-laws, Shirley and Howard Jensen, Houston, and Doris and Paul F. Kurtz, Cleveland; brother, Albert Louie Patrick, Conroe; sister, Avis Staub, Port O'Conner; eight grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren. Services; 2:00 p.m. Monday, October 22 1984, Earthman North Freeway Chapel, Interment: Woodlawn Cemetery. Pallbearers: Larry Robertson, Alton Waites, Lester Ray Jenkins, Randall A. Willis, Roy and Pat Mullins, and Albert Louie Patrick ∼ First married Willis and later Petter. Her final resting place is uncertain to me.
