Bio

Daughter of Matthew Dentler and his first wife, Catherina Maggie Schweiss of Taylor, Williamson Co, TX. Gertrude was married twice. Her first husband was Ignaz Hartleib whom she married on 11 Jan 1897 in Williamson Co TX. They were the parents of Alma Johanna Luise Amalie Hartleib. Alma was later adopted by her stepfather and used his surname before her marriage. She continued to live with him after her mother's death and is mentioned in his obituary as a surviving daughter. Her 2nd husband was John Wesley Hulsey whom she married on 5 Dec 1903 in Carter Co OK. They were the parents of Ollie Ellen Hulsey. Gertrude died after the birth of her daughter, Ollie, born on 27 Sep 1905, and before the 1910 census. It is not certain that she is buried here but it is most likely. Her 1st husband is buried here as well as a younger sister of her 2nd husband who died at age 10.
