Bio
Wife: Naomi Fryar John and Naomi had five known children: James Reagan, Gladys G. (Feil), Madge Emma (Haynes), Samuel B. and George B. John and Naomi were married (according to Polk Co. Missouri Marriage Records on Feb. 28, 1911. By 1920 they had moved to California and John went to work for S.P. Oil Company as an Oil Puller. Their son James Reagan Slatten was living in Missouri with his mothers parents in the 1920 Census and the rest of the family was living in Fresno. It leaves me wondering if James Regan was John and Naomi's son? James Regan was born in 1909 and Naomi and John did not marry until 1911. Was John married before he married Naomi? Or was Naomi previously married? Sadly Johns wife Naomi died in 1921 from TB. Her son George died in 1920 at one year old and their son Samuel died when he was 4 years old in 1921.
