Bio

Daugherty, Winifred Winifred Daugherty, age 90, of Austin died on Thursday, September 16, 2004. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elof Nord. Winifred is survived by her daughter, Barbara Landry; two grandchildren, Kimberly Burgh and husband, Michael; Kristy O'Neal and husband, Walter; four great-grandchildren, David Barnett, Brooke, Troy and Blake O'Neal; two sisters, Helen Ferrell and husband, F.W.; Vernice Erlanson; and numerous family and friends. She was a longtime member of Our Savior Lutheran Church and retired from the State of Texas after 17 years of Service. Her family was the most important thing to her and she enjoyed as a hobby keeping track of the family history. She enjoyed life to the fullest and always had a smile on her face. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 19, 2004, from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. at Cook-Walden Funeral Home . Services will be held on Monday, September 20, 2004, at 2:00 at the Colonial Chapel of Cook-Walden. Interment will follow at Austin Memorial Park Cemetery. The family wishes to thank the Pflugerville Care Center staff for there loving care.
