Bio

Etta Corene was the daughter of John and Lottie Cora (Booth) Henry. Her death certificate records that she was born in Crosby County, but all her siblings were born in Hill County. Also, on her daughter Evelyn Corene's death certificate, Etta's birthplace is recorded as Hill County. Etta was first married to David Jefferson Davis on 9 Aug 1931 in Crosby County, Texas. I think they had 3 children. At her death, her husband was Ferman Jones. She passed away in the San Juan Hospital and was to be buried in this cemetery on 30 Jul 1958.
