The Deseret News September 21, 2005 Harvey Lowell Wilson He Will Be Missed Harvey Lowell Wilson, 78, passed away peacefully at his home in Scottsdale, on September 3, 2005. He was born in Casper, Wyoming, and lived most of his life in Garfield and Price, Utah and Scottsdale, Arizona. Lowell was best known for his loving nature, generous heart, and his excellent wood-working skills. He served his country on an aircraft carrier in World War II and served his church in many capacities, including a full time mission and temple worker for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Gleneth Bangerter. He is survived by his devoted wife, Cora Hooper Wilson and children: Russell Wilson, Wayne Wilson, Carrie Ryan, Terrie Schwartz, Donna Haren, Valorie Persons, Vickie Burkert, Dennis Williams, and Michael Williams. He will also be greatly missed by his brother, Larry Wilson; two sisters, Bernece Carpenter and Eula Riding; 44 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; many in-laws, nieces, nephews, and friends. Services were held at the Mt. Shadows Ward building the of LDS Church in Scottsdale on Thursday September 8.
