Dorothy Faye Mitchell Dorothy Faye Mitchell, 86, of Runaway Bay, died Tuesday, Sept. 19, 2017, in Wichita Falls. Dorothy was born June 7, 1931, in Fort Worth to Edwin and Flora (Vetter) Sturdevant. She married Billy "Red" Mitchell Dec. 24, 1969, in Glen Rose. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 44 years; daughter Linda Stokes; son Troy Mitchell; brothers J.D., Bud, Rudolph and Floyd Sturdevant; and sisters Mary Willis and Ruth Dennis. She is survived by her sons, Willie Mitchell Jr. and wife, Stacy, Donnie Mitchell of Paradise, John Mitchell of Roanoke, George Dunn and wife, Tammie, of Covington, Wash., and Eddie Dunn and wife, Clarice, of Washington; daughters Jerrie Tinney of Olney and Juanita Williams of Wyoming; 15 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and extended family members and friends.
