Bio

C. V. was married to Hattie Peterson. They moved to the Baytown area where he worked for Humble Oil Company. They had three sons: Donald Ray, Kenneth and Curtis. Donald Ray was killed in a traffic accident as a teenager. His home was always open to his relatives when times were hard. He was especially loved by his niece, Carol Ann, who was named after him.
