Married Stazie Novak on October 26, 1904 at St. Mary Catholic Church, Dwight, Nebr. According to his death certificate he was a pipe fitter for California Shipyards, residence 43 W. 51st Street, Long Beach, died September 18, 1944 at Los Angeles General Hospital and was buried September 22 in Calvary Cemetery. Janky, 63, a former Butler county farmer, passed away in a hospital in Los Angeles, Calif., September 18. He was born at O'Neill August 23, 1881. Since 1941 he had lived in Long Beach. His wife, Stazie, survives him as do two daughters, Mrs. Marie Rathjen of Ulysses, and Mrs. Emma Guthans of Los Angeles, and three sons, Ted Janky of Stromsburg, and Leo Janky WT1c and Bernard E. Janky AG1c, both in the navy and serving in the Atlantic.
