Bio

Mrs. ALVINA (NITSCHE) EHRIG was the daughter and eldest child born to Emil John Nitsche and Mrs. Emma S. (Knittel) Nitsche. She was one of seven children born to her parent's union. Her known siblings were --- Arthur Paul Nitsche Bertha Nitsche Minnie Nitsche Alfred Nitsche Edwin Alois Nitsche Rosa Emma Nitsche Alvina was the first wife of Paul Richard Ehrig whom she wed on May 13, 1902 in Harrison County, Texas. To their union, two children born, namely Victor Calvin Ehrig and Myrtie May Ehrig. Obituary "Mrs. Paul Ehrig Died Tuesday Evening --- Mrs. Paul Ehrig, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Emil Nitsche, after a week's illness, died Tuesday evening at 1:30 p.m. at her residence in Rainey addition. Mrs. Ehrig was a good and true friend, a consistent member of the First Methodist Episcopal Church, and a devoted mother and wife. She was buried in Greenwood Cemetery at 3 o'clock Wednesday afternoon. She leaves a husband and two children. Tender sympathies are extended." She was also survived by her parents and her siblings.
