Howard Warren Nesmith November 13, 1926 - May 18, 2021 Howard Warren Nesmith, loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather was born in Dallas, Texas on November 13, 1926, the son of Clarence Hines Nesmith, Sr. and Mattie Beatrice Claire. He passed away May 18, 2021 in Denison, TX at the age of 94. He joined the Marines at the age of 17 and served in the Pacific during World War II. He was a loving man who devoted his life to his family. During his professional career he was a pressure vessel inspector for Bechtel Corporation. He was preceded in death by his wife of 64 years,Vivian Laverne Nesmith and is survived by his son David Nesmith and his wife Susan, daughter Barbara Nachlinger; grandchildren James B. Nachlinger, Jr and wife Sherry; Rachel Nesmith Harrison and husband Kerry; Kathyrn Nesmith Sotomayor and husband Noel; great grandchildren Quintin P. Nachlinger, Elli L. Nachlinger, Trystan Sotomayor and Savannah Harrison; and his faithful dog Baxter. He will be laid to rest with his beautiful wife Vivian at Laureland in Dallas, TX on May 24, 2021.
