Arden Henry Georgeson was born December 4, 1936, the son of Ames and Hilda (Solheim) Georgeson on the family farm near Heimdal, ND. He attended school in Heimdal through the 10th Grade and graduated from Fessenden High School. He worked on the family farm, milking cows and raising crops. He also did carpentry, which included help building the Manfred Elevator, and backhoe excavating. On October 7, 1961, he married Linda Johnson at the Little Brown Church in Nashwa, Iowa. They moved to a farm north of Heimdal and raised their two daughters, Lisa and Michelle. Arden was a member of Hoff Lutheran Church until its closure. He loved farming and the smell of freshly tilled soil. Arden had a passion for the Heimdal Hall Restoration. He loved talking on the phone "Finding out the news". He was a regular at Josie's Café. Arden also liked his motorized vehicles, Harley Davidson, Indian Motorcycle, 55 Ford Pink and White Automobile, or the old Heimdal Fire Truck. He loved to go ice fishing with his friends, Lewis D. and Don S. Arden's pride and joy was his daughters, Lisa and husband David and Michelle, and grandson Austin, who he loved to take along and check the fields. Arden is survived by his wife, Linda, Heimdal; daughters Lisa (David) Harrison, and Michelle Georgeson; grandson, Austin; sisters, Jeanette (Jon) Meyers, Mae Pepple, Donna (Charles) Brown, Carol Jensen and Judy James; Brothers-in-law, Frank (Joni) Johnson, and Glenn Rudel; and numerous nieces and nephews.
