Bio

Sim A. Adams, aged 83, resident of the Chatfield community, died Monday afternoon at 5 o'clock while visiting relatives in Dallas. The funeral was held Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at Chatfield where interment was made. The services were conducted by Rev. W. M. Justice. Surviving are five sons, Bill Adams, Hollis, Okla.; Joe Adams, Chatfield; Spencer Adams, Dallas; Sim Adams, Corsicana and Johnny Adams, Sherman; three daughters, Mrs. Kelly Shue, Corsicana; Mrs. Mollie Ferguson, Chatfield; and Mrs. Mandy Stinson, Batesville, Ark. and a number of grandchildren. The funeral was directed by the Corley Funeral Home. The Corsicana Daily Sun Feb 26, 1935
