Funeral services for Lorene E. Kotrla, 90, of Oscar will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday at Seaton Brethren Church with Rev. Denise Mikeska officiating. Burial will be in Seaton Cemetery. Mrs. Kotrla died Monday in a Belton Living Center. Mrs. Kotrla was born January 29, 1931 in Red Ranger to Joe Pechal and Rosie Vitek Pechal. She attended school at Little Elm. She married William Joe Kotrla, Sr. December 30, 1950. He preceded her in death December 14, 2001. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Seaton Brethren Church; Seaton Brethren Church Christian Sisters and SPJST Lodge #47. She lived in the Red Ranger and Oscar areas all of her life. Mrs. Kotrla was preceded in death by one granddaughter Selley Kotrla; her sister Josephine Dudley and brothers Joe Pechal, Ed Pechal, Jerry Pechal, Raymond Pechal and Clarence Pechal. Survivors include four sons William Joe Kotrla, Jr. and his wife Vicky, of Belton, Daniel Kotrla of Krum, Joseph Kotrla of Dallas and Gary Kotrla and his wife Vickie of Joe Lee; one sister Vallie Zavodny and her husband Leon of Rogers; six grandchildren Scott Kotrla and his wife Elena, Danielle Kotrla, Kris Kotrla and his wife Krista, Kyle Kotrla, Jessica Hunt and her husband Tom and Andrew Kotrla and ten great grandchildren Jacob Kotrla, Adam Kotrla, Matthew Kotrla, Kambelle Kotrla, Knox Kotrla, Keller Kotrla, Elliotte Hunt, Miles Hunt, Ivy Hunt and Eden Hunt. Memorials may be made to Seaton Brethren Church or to Seaton Brethren Church Christian Sisters. Visitation will be from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home
