Garden of Meditation (East of Sidewalk) in Memoryland Memorial Park Cemetery. 10-25-2007 Herald Banner Mary Jo Burgin Mary Jo Burgin, 82, of Greenville died the evening of Oct. 24, 2007, at Mesquite Specialty Hospital. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of Coker-Mathews Funeral Home with Rev. Royce Litchfield officiating. Burial will be in Memoryland Memorial Park. Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Daughter of Ernest Walter and Leatha Jewel Watts Burgin, she was born Feb. 18, 1925, in Saltillo. She worked 36 years in fuel tanks and electronics assembly for Temco and E-Systems. She was a member of First Baptist Church. Surviving are two sisters, Cordie Russell of Sunnyvale and Sally Schluter of Greenville; nephews R.C. Burgin of Greenville, Joe Bob Burgin of Sulphur Springs, Charles Burgin of Terrell and Eddie Burgin of Commerce; and nieces Leatha Watkins and Johnette Russell of Sunnyvale, Vickie Conner and Pamela Himes of Greenville, Dana Sue Warren of Garland and Barbara Ann Kuban of Terrell. She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers R.C. Burgin, Ocie Burgin, Ides Burgin and Ernest Edward Burgin. Pallbearers will be Joe Bob Burgin, James Bruce Burgin, Charles Burgin, Kevin Himes, Rick Conner and Orion Casper.
