Bio
ArtieMacie Price was the daughter of William Proctor and Elizabeth (Keck) Yadon. She was born in Tazewell, Clairborne Co., TN on 21 Nov 1852. In 1860 the family moved to Laurel Co., KY but by the mid 1860's they were settled in Pulaski Co., KY. It was there ArtieMacie met and married George Alfred Price on 15 Oct 1871. ArtieMacie was the mother of five children. She enjoyed quilting, weaving, knitting, crocheting and was an excellent cook. She was generous by nature and often helped others in need. Her descendants remember her with love and affection. (Note; The name ArtieMacie has been spelled numerous ways. In her personal Bible she wrote her name and she spelled it "Artimacie". Her nickname was Macie.)
