Bio
Rose Ann Tschoepe, 84, went to be with the Lord in the early hours of April 22, 2021. She passed at peace with loved ones at her side. Services: Funeral services will be held on April 29, 2021 at 1 pm at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church. A Rosary service will precede the funeral service at 12:30 pm. Internment: Mount Olivet Cemetery in Fort Worth, TX. Rose Ann was born on May 15, 1936 to Alfons and Ann Gerlich in Prague, Oklahoma. She grew up on the family farm until she was 15 when the family moved to Fort Worth in 1951. Rose Ann graduated from Our Lady of Victory High School in 1952. Upon graduation, Rose Ann worked at St. Joseph's Hospital while she pursued her LVN license. After she earned her LVN license, Rose Ann took a position at All Saints Medical Center in the Newborn Nursery where she would work until she retired in 1994. On May 13, 1961, Rose Ann married her one true love, Jimmy D. Tschoepe, in Fort Worth, TX. The agape love that Rose Ann and Jimmy shared is one that many can only hope to find in a lifetime. Their blessed union produced three children: Jimmy, Timmy, and Robert. Rose Ann was a devout member of St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church from the time she moved to Fort Worth in 1952. She attended mass multiple times a week and volunteered countless hours at the St. Thomas Food Pantry helping those in the surrounding community. Rose Ann was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 45 years, Jimmy "Joe" Tschoepe; son, Robert Tschoepe; parents Alfons and Ann Gerlich; brothers Vernon, Joe, Johnny and sister, Louise. Rose Ann is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Jimmy and Jenell Tschoepe of Azle; son and daughter-in-law, Timmy and Tasha Tschoepe of Weatherford; grandchildren, Jeff Tschoepe, Jenea Tschoepe, Heather Darling and her spouse, Kyle, Chris Tschoepe and his spouse, Logan, Alicia Tschoepe and her spouse, Matt, Mike Tapia, and Aaron Pruitt; great-grandchildren Kimber, Mackenzie, and Lyla. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, please make all donations to St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church.
