Jolay Fay Lancaster July 9, 1948 - October 31, 2007 Mountain View , AR Jolay Fay Sutterfield Lancaster, 59, Mountain View entered into rest on October 31, 2007 in Little Rock. She was born July 9, 1948 in Harrison, Arkansas. She was a member of Arbanna Baptist Church, a homemaker a loving wife and mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was greatly loved and will be missed. Survivors include her husband, Allen Lancaster of Mtn. View; five children, Redena Nelson (Robert) of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Michael Martinez (Candi) of Alpena, Arkansas, Cynthia Kennedy (Kyle) of Plattsburg, Mo., Rudy Dale Martinez (Jenny) of Smithville, Mo., and Jeanetta Anderson (Mike) of Cave City, Arkansas; three step-children, Kenny Lancaster (Tina) of Mtn. View, Beverly Lancaster of Elk City, Okla. and Tracy Jiles (Lee) of Troy, Ill.; eight sisters, Emily Arnold, Arla Hendrix, Sharon Lincoln all of Kansas, Nellie Wilson, Wonice Nease, Teresa Sanders, Lisa Powell, Patty Powell all of Arkansas; nine brothers, Bennette Powell, Jackie Powell, Tony Powell, Eddie Powell, Larry Powell, Wayne Powell all of Arkansas and James Farris, Junious Gammill, Eugene Gammill all of Kansas and twenty-one grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her mother, Berley Clark, her father, J.D. Powell, her son, Obia Joseph ‘Tinker' Clark, her daughter, Trista Clark and grandmother and grandfather. Visitation is 6 – 9 p.m., November 2, 2007 at Roller Crouch Chapel, Mtn. View. Funeral service is 2:00 p.m., Saturday, November 3, 2007 at Arbanna Baptist Church, Mountain View, Arkansas with Bro. Jim Chandler and Bro. Glen Swafford officiating. Interment will be in Alco Cemetery, Alco, Arkansas. Pallbearers are Chris Nelson, Zach Martinez, Andy Anderson, Bryan Woody, Andy Baxter and Billy Treece. Honorary pallbearers are Nick Martinez, Brandon Martinez and Russell Treece. Roller Crouch Funeral Home, Mtn. View is in charge of the arrangements.
