Gloria Lucille (Foytik) Lyone, 88, of Katy, Texas, passed away Wednesday, February 24, 2021, in Houston, Texas. She was born December 25, 1932 in Sealy, Texas, the daughter of Frank and Julia C. (Kallus) Foytik. Gloria grew up and attended schools in the Sealy area, graduating from Sealy High School in 1950. She was united in marriage to Harold Lyons, Sr. Gloria owned and operated a nursery for many years in the Bellville area. She is survived by her daughter, Susan Smith of Katy; son, Harold Lyons of Bellville; grandchildren B,ryan Gagne and his wife, Brittany, Scott Gagne, Kevin Lyons, JuAune Aguirre and her husband, Jonathan, Laura Lyons, Patty Anderson, Tammy Hope, Becky Foytik, and Sherry Glueck; and numerous other relatives and friends. Gloria was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Lyons, Sr.; parents, Frank and Julia Foytik; and numerous siblings. Visitation is scheduled for Monday, March 1, 2021, from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM at Schmidt Funeral Home, 12029 Hwy. 36 South, Bellville, Texas. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, March 2, 2021, at 10:30 AM. Burial will be in Lyons Cemetery.
