Mrs. Elder Viola (nee Sumpter) Colley , m. 23 Dec 1983 at Columbia, Boone, Missouri. No children. ∼ Joplin Globe, Joplin, Missouri, Feb 3, 1984, Page 20 MIAMI, Okla. - Curtis D. King, 65, Moberly, Mo., formery of Miami, died at 9:30 p.m. Wednesday at his home after an illness. Mr. King was born Nov. 20, 1918 in Ottawa County, near Miami. He was an Ottawa Indian, and interior decorator, a World War II Army veteran, a member of the Baptist Church and a life member of the American Legion. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Elder King; two sons, James King, St. Louis, and Curtis King, the state of Alaska; one brother, Don King, Tulsa; four sisters, Mrs. Myrtle Weston and Mrs. Lorene Montgomery, both of Midwest City, and Mrs. Mary Ann Angelo and Ada Savoie, both of Miami, and three grandchildren.
