Bio
Roberta Gay Ash, age 69, passed away peacefully on April 21, 2021 at Community Memorial Health System. She was born on October 23, 1951 in Sargent to Jack and Mary (Plock) Brass. After high school, Gay went on to marry Jim Ash on April 21, 1973. Jim and Gay Ash have three wonderful daughters Jacki, Jayme, and Jillian. Gay loved many things in life, her grandkids, sewing, drinking Coke, making grandma bread, bowling, golfing, gambling, and delivering mail. Gay also babysat for many years. She was active on the Sargent Women's Action Team, enjoyed being in the town's play, and was in the multi award winning group, The Snoop Sisters. Gay is survived by her husband, Jim, daughters Jack Ash and Chris Beran, Jayme and Nathan Hawk, and Jillian and Brandon Ingraham, her seven grandkids, Rileigh, Mace, Brennan, Hayes Beran, Harper, and Hudson Hawk and Claire Ingraham as well as her sisters Brenda Keefe and LuAnn Lewis. She is preceded in death by her parents.
