Lorraine Dorr, age 84 of Page, Nebraska,passed away Monday morning, March 22nd, at the Golden Livingcenter in Neligh. Memorials may be directed to the Page United Methodist Church. She is survived by her husband Duane of Page, 2 sons, David Dorr and his wife, Cindy of Grand Rapids, Michigan, Brian Dorr and his wife, Stephanie of North Platte, 1 daughter, Anne Toprak and her husband, Sinan of Grayling, Michigan, 9 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, 2 brothers, Merwyn French Jr. and wife Pat of Illinois, Carroll French of O'Neill, and 1 sister, Bette Frels and her husband, Robert of Hershey, NE. Lorraine was born August 9, 1925 at Page, Nebraska to Merwyn and Florence (Heiss) French. She grew up in the Page area graduating from the Page High School. Lorraine attended 4 years of college at the University of Nebraska earning a Bachelor of Science Degree. On December 21, 1946 Lorraine married Duane Dorr at Page, Nebraska. To this union four children were born. Along with being mother, Lorraine taught Home Economics at the Neligh High School. She was a member of the Page United Methodist Church, and the United Methodist Women of Page. She was preceded in death by her parents and one daughter, Caroline. Rev. Buck Linton-Hendrick will officiate.
