Obituary (from the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow funeral home website): Annie Cleo Kenner Boyer, age 85, of McKinney, Texas, passed away May 31, 2011, in McKinney. Annie was born October 18, 1925, in Cannon, Texas, to Frank and Mattie Lee (Painter) Kenner. She married Leonard Marion (L. M.) Boyer, Jr. on July 27, 1945, in Dallas, Texas. Annie was of the Baptist faith. She is survived by her daughters, Sherry and husband, James Grier, Diane Nicklen, Karen Boyer, and Donna Keel, all of McKinney, Texas; nine grandchildren, twenty-six great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; brothers, Wade Kenner of Pottsboro and Mr. and Mrs. Jim Kenner of Sulphur Springs, Texas; and sisters, Dorothy Wilson and husband, Raymond of Princeton, Texas and Bonnie Rutherford of Celina, Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband in 2007, and great-granddaughter, Sarah Beth May. Funeral services will be held at Thursday, June 2, 2011, at 4:00 p.m., at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel in Allen, Texas with Bro. James Short officiating. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park in Allen. The family will receive friends during a visitation from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
