Pattie G. Kiemele, 63, of Grafton, ND, passed away Saturday, April 17, 2021, at Altru Hospital, Grand Forks, ND. Funeral service will be held Wednesday, April 21, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at the United Lutheran Church, Cavalier, ND. Visitation will be held Tuesday, April 20, 2021, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with a 7:00 p.m. prayer service at the Askew Funeral Home, Cavalier, ND. Masks are requested. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the American Cancer Society. Pattie Gail George was born November 11, 1957, in Minot, ND, to Richard and Diane (Lemke) George. She grew up in the Minot area and graduated from Minot High School in 1976. Pattie worked for Nash Finch in Minot and Williston. On March 5, 1988 Pattie married Rodney Wayne Kiemele at the First Presbyterian Church in Willison, ND. After their marriage they moved to Warroad, MN. In 2012, Rodney and Pattie moved to Devils Lake, ND, and in 2018 moved to Grafton, ND. Pattie enjoyed quilting and spending time with family, especially her grandson, Kade. Pattie always supported Rodney in his years in the National Guard. Pattie is survived by her husband, Rodney; sons: Travis George, Park River, ND; and Michael Kiemele, Roseau, MN; grandson, Kade; brother, Terry (Teri) George, Roseau, MN; nieces and nephews: Trevor, Tanner, Tyler, Rachel, Shelby, and Neil; and great-niece, Alyssa. She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Diane; sisters: Kimberley and Renae; and brothers: Michael, Richard, and Dale.
