Stasny of Route 2, Granger, were held this morning at 9:30 a. m., from the Condra Funeral Home in Granger. Mr. Stasny passed away Saturday evening at the home of his daughter, Mrs. L. Remmert of 412 Vernon Street, Taylor. He was 70 years old and was born December 28, 1882 in Williamson County where he resided during his entire life. On August 6, 1905, he married Miss Mary Zurovetz, who survives him. Other survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Lillian Remmert of Taylor, and Mrs. Frances Wendland of Austin; one son, Raymond Stasny of Taylor; four sisters, Mrs. Frances Huson of Taylor, Mrs. Louis M. Azoch and Mrs. Annie Bartosh of Granger and Mrs. Alice Kubala of Corpus Christi; one brother Rudolph Stasny of Corpus Christi and four grandchildren . Three sons preceded him in death . The morning service at the funeral home was followed by services at 10:00 from the Sts. Cyril and Methodius Church in Granger with the Very Rev. Msgr. J. J. Vanicek and Rev. Michalka officiating. Rosary was recited at 7:00 p.m. Sunday from the Condra Funeral Home in Granger. Pallbearers were Rudy Grossman , Laddie Kubala, John Valla, Louis Pavliska, Rudy Matula and Johnnie Bohac.
