Margie Nell Vernon passed away December 3, 2014 in The Woodlands, Texas at the age of 85. She was born May 21, 1929 in Rosebud, Texas to Oscar and Ida Stutts Strader. Margie is preceded in death by her parents, Oscar and Ida Strader, son, Robert Vernon, granddaughter, Kasey Lougee and great grandchildren, Emery Lougee and Keagan Roberts. She is survived by her loving husband of 66 years John Vernon, daughters, Debbie Roberts and Janie Philibert and son, James Vernon. Four grandchildren: Scott Hendrickson, Lisa Denby, April Flowers, and Heather Davenport and five great grandchildren: Derek Roberts, Kadie Hendrickson, Alexis Flowers, Dustin, Flowers, and Brianna Hendrickson also survive. Funeral services will be held Friday, December 5, 2014 at 10:00AM in Cashner Colonial Chapel with Dudley Austin officiating, with visitation one hour prior to service. Burial will be held Friday, December 5, 2014 at 12:00PM in Earthman Resthaven Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Bill, Scott, Cody, Dave, Greg and Derek.
