Bio

Donie was born in Naples, Texas to Reuben Lester Young and Mary Elizabeth Dennis Young. Donie worked at The Department of Commerce as an International Trade Specialist. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, painting, and reading. Donie was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Sasser; her parents; one son, Benjamin Hill; two sisters, Donnie Copeland and Betty Carpenter; and one brother, Stanley Young.
