Bio

Kathryn R. Walker, 65 of Star City, passed away Sunday, April 11, 2021 at her home. She was born October 30, 1955 in Pine Bluff to the late Elmer and Marjorie Pearl Harper Peterson. She was of the Baptist faith and was a medical biller for Jefferson Regional Medical Center. Kathryn enjoyed gardening, taking care of her family, was a wonderful cook and loving wife. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Phillip Peterson. Survivors include her husband, Glenn Walker; 2 brothers, Joseph Peterson and Steven Peterson, all of Star City; many nieces, nephews and extended family. A local visitation will be held Tuesday, April 13, 2021 from 6:00-8:00PM at Griffin Funeral Chapel. A graveside service will be held at 10:00AM Friday, April 16, 2021 at Tompkins Cemetery in Byrdstown, TN with Randy Tompkins officiating. Arrangements by Griffin Funeral Service in Star City.
