Cameron, 71, of 516 E. First St., died Tuesday in a local hospital. She was the widow of the late Thomas Cameron, who died in 1931. Mrs. Cameron was born May 24, 1883 at Linwood. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church. A son, Harold of Lincoln, survives her. Services will be Friday at 2 p.m. at the Fred Bader Chapel. '''''''''''''' Fremont Guide and Tribune , May 21 1955, p. 7, col. 6 Mrs. Cameron Services Are Held Funeral services for Mrs. Verna Cameron were held at the Fred Bader Chapel Friday afternoon with Rev. A. C. Becker officiating. Mrs. Cameron, 71, died Tuesday. Mrs. George Riley Sr. sang "The Old Rugged Cross," and "In the Garden." Marvin Schou accompanied her at the organ. Pallbearers were William Feinauer, Joseph F. Vavra, Earl Blanchard, Andrew Anderson and frank Richie. Burial was at Ridge Cemetery.
