Louis Nugent, Jr., 69 of Kirbyville, died Friday, April 2, 2021 at Avalon Place in Kirbyville. Funeral service will be 2:00 pm Monday, April 12, 2021 at Gateway Tabernacle Church in Kirbyville with visitation starting at 1:00 prior to service. Burial will be at Bean cemetery. Born February 11, 1952 in Liberty, TX, he served in the Marines then later worked as a truck driver. He lived in Kirbyville most of his life. He is survived by his children, Anthony Wayne Nugent, Robert Lynn Nugent and Chavelle, Terry Glen Nugent and Meredith, Stacy Nugent, David Allen Nugent and Brandi, Marie Lakey and Adrian, June Jones and Jeremy; brother, Gerald Nugent and Janice; sisters, Anita Cofty, Mary Chatham and James. He was preceded in death by parents, Louis and Ruth Nugent; daughter, Tammie Sue Carter.
