Bio

Bennie entered the service Sept. 1, 1950 and was a member of the 245th Medium Tank Battalion, 45th Infantry Division. On February 19, 1952, he was killed when his truck overturned near Chorwon, North Korea. Private Patterson was awarded the Combat Infantryman's Badge, the Korean Service Medal, the United Nations Service Medal, the National Defense Service Medal and the Korean War Service Medal. -------------------------
