Bio
Dorsie Bernice Brown was born on December 23, 1933, to Johnny and Maude (Goode) Mikeska. She transitioned on March 31, 2021, at the age of 87 years three months and 8 days. Dorsie attended school in Monaville, Texas where she played volleyball and graduated. She loved watching softball and traveled many miles watching her grandchildren participate in games. She loved the Lord and enjoyed attending church and gospel signings. She would make skillet cookies and fried chicken which her family enjoyed. Dorsie was preceded in death by her husband, Dick Brown; a daughter, Debbie Sisco; and sister, Aloweise Mikeska; She is survived by her children Brenda Lenard and Jerry of Tahlequah, Dickie Brown and Linda of Tahlequah, Johnny Brown, and Annette of Locust Grove, Marvin Brown and Charlene of Stilwell, Chris Brown of Tahlequah, and Dianna Fountain and Tim also of Tahlequah; 17 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren; a brother Lonnie Mikeska; as well as many other friends and loved ones Dorsie loved her family and she will be greatly missed.
