''''''''' Butler County Press (David City, Nebr.), February 15, 1917, p. 6, col. 2 Dwight Jerry Hurt died at Beatrice on February 7. W. F. Dosek went to get the body and returned Friday. The funeral took place at St. Mary's Catholic church. The Dosek band escorted the body to the cemetery. ''''''''' Butler County Press, February 22, 1917, p. 4, col. 2 Dwight Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Hromas, Mrs. Joseph Kranda and Mrs. Anton Kranda came from Crete, N. Dak., to attend the funeral of the ladies' brother, Jerry Hurt, on February 10.
